Baikal TGO Photo Diary-19

I’ve been active in the outdoors since joining the scouts in the early 1990’s. Since then I’ve spent the past 15 years walking and camping in the mountains of Britain and Europe. I also rock climbed for around five years, and have completed a number of long distance cycles including 1000 km across the length of France in 2009.

Since 2016 I’ve transferred this experience to the world of arctic adventure. Click the images below to read more about my expeditions.

 

  • Baffin 2020

    In April 2020 I will be joining a Canadian adventurer to ski 600 km across the sea ice of Baffin Island in the Canadian Arctic
  • Baikal 2018

    In March 2018 I led a successful sled expedition to walk 634 km across the world’s largest frozen lake in Siberia.
  • Hardangervidda 2017

    In April 2017 I skied a short 120 km solo route across the Hardangervidda plateau in Norway.
  • Finnmarksvidda 2016

    In February 2016 I skied 120 km with a guide across the Finnmark plateau in Arctic Norway.
