Freelance writer on outdoor adventure, extreme sports and adventure travel
About Me
Hello, I’m a freelance writer who focuses on the outdoors and adventure. My work has appeared in magazines and newspapers around the world, including National Geographic UK, Sidetracked, The Guardian, The Great Outdoors, and Outside. Some of the adventurers I’ve interviewed for stories are considered global legends—like Reinhold Messner and Børge Ousland. My writing is occasionally mentioned in newspapers such as The Washington Post and The Globe and Mail. In my free time, I love traveling in Arctic regions, whether through winter treks or summer backpacking. I call the county of Leicestershire in the UK home and am available for assignments—just get in touch!
You can get to know me better on my About page, or just hit the Articles page if you want to get straight into my writing.

"Jeeze I hate this kind of article. As if every time you go for a walk in the countryside, you are hauling your ass up a 'king mountain. The outdoors is not the lone province of adventurers"
Guardian Reader

"The article I have been waiting for and one that needs sharing widely. The entire chasing of meaningless records has become a farce"
